For renovation of industry round chimney built early 20th century in Swiss we have produced special shape bricks in custom size matched to delivered original piece (on picture). New produced clay brick in vault form is specially dedicated to building round chimney. Similar arch shape special bricks are used for construction of round wells and fountains.
Chimney bricks for this project in Swiss are machinery extruded from yellow clay. Special bricks are fired in ring kiln with coal (by very high temperature 1150 C degrees). Ready fired chimney brick is resistant to frost, with low water absorption and high density. Coal fired yellow clay brick has a typical for old-school brick manufacturing colors: from yellow to brown. Such of colors are not possible to imitation by modern brick production.
