The cross-ribbed vault was rebuilt using bricks produced in our brickyard, traditionally fired from clay in a Hoffmann ring kiln (firing temperature approximately 980 degrees Celsius). The bricks are produced in a format of approximately 250x120x65 mm. Color: shades of red. Traditional bricks are not as hard as clinker and allow for the free diffusion of water vapor. This feature is crucial for historic buildings.
