Renaissance palace Ehrenstein in Germany – custom-made clay brick tiles were used to renovate the floor. Clay tile sizes 185x185x25 mm. Floor tiles are made of pure clay, without any chemical additives. The color is natural brick red in various shades (tiles were fired with coal in historic ring kiln) The custom clay tiles were laid on traditional lime mortar. After laying and drying, the surface of the floor tiles was protected with impregnation.
